There are 280+ Reach Out and Read sites in Pennsylvania, all part of Reach Out and Read Pennsylvania.
Reach Out and Read Greater Philadelphia (now part of and called Reach Out and Read Pennsylvania) currently includes 80 primary care health centers, 5 neonatal follow-up programs and 1 cardiac developmental follow-up program in Southeastern Pennsylvania (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties) reaching nearly 150,000 young children, ages newborn through 5 years.
This year the Reach Out and Read primary care clinicians (doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) at these 86 sites in Southeastern PA will need to provide more than 215,000 brand-new books at primary care well visits for the young patients, ages newborn through 5 years.
