Hosting a house party for Reach Out and Read is a wonderful way to highlight the importance of early literacy, share your love of books and introduce friends, family and colleagues to ROR Greater Philadelphia’s important work.
Whether it’s an informal backyard BBQ or a child’s birthday party, a dressed up evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, or a festive holiday gathering where guests learn about ROR and are asked to make a donation, house parties are a great way to spread the message that all children deserve to grow up with books and a love of reading.
